Editor: Your column in the Tuesday, Oct. 14 edition of The Times on Ebola was excellent and well put. We appreciated the thoughts expressed.
What we do not appreciate is picking up the paper to find an ugly, ugly picture on the front page of a participant of the Fort Langley Zombie walk. To “celebrate” blood and death at this sick time of year surely does not need to be promoted by your newspaper as news?
We can’t imagine how parents take their children to this event and consider it all in good fun. It is tasteless and horrible and surely if the paper must cover this, a better photo could be used.
We are disappointed.
