Conservatives fighting for the working class

I remember a time when the NDP actually stood for something. Despite never forming government, they were a powerful voice for working people.

It didn’t matter whether the Liberals or Conservatives were in power, the NDP fought for those of us unconnected to power.

Now I don’t know what they stand for, besides propping up Justin Trudeau’s government.

Last week I couldn’t believe my ears when I heard Erin O’Toole give a speech speaking up for the workers whose jobs have been shipped overseas. Those of us who have watched our factories close, in favour of importing those same products from China, know how devastating this has been.

So here we are where the Liberals are handing out huge contracts to their rich friends.

The NDP are protecting them.

And the Conservatives are fighting for the working class.

It might take us a while to get used to these new political alignments, but I don’t think the next election is going to go the way most people think.
