I have lived on Vancouver Island for 20 years and in Oak Bay for 10.
I have followed the local news and opinions and there is always an interesting opinion that makes you ponder.
When I read the letter “For the birds” I had to check the calendar to make sure it wasn’t April 1.
If the biggest problem in a day is to swish out a bird bath, what’s that five minutes? Then aren’t you lucky.
I am actually really offended by this complaint. Look at the news, look at the world – and your problem is crows soaking their bread in your birdbath?
I recommend that you Google crows and learn about them, they show way more compassion in their lives than you seem to have.
Until then, take a minute and swish out your birdbath.
