Coronation Street

Another season of the Coronation Street Social Club of Oceanside has come to an end.

Members have met and enjoyed laughs, coffee, refreshments, speakers, entertainment and all round good camaraderie. The group has been very fortunate in having the Royal Canadian Legion #76 meeting room (thank you very much for the table set up and use of the kitchen) and Thalassa Restaurant at the Memorial Golf Course (delicious muffins, toast, coffee are ready when we arrive) put up with our noise and idiosyncratic requests. We also want to thank the Town of Qualicum Beach for maintaining the dog walks. Member recruitment has been hot and heavy there over the past few years (hmm, what is the relationship between dog-loving and Coronation Street?)

After our breather over the summer we will be in full swing again, beginning the second Thursday in September. The Legion will be rocking with commotion then.
