In the Lakes District News edition of March 23 in the story ‘Burns Lake Community Forest happy with AAC’, it should have been reported that the Burns Lake Community Forest’s annual allowable cut (AAC) was not set at 170,000 m3, rather, this was the annual volume that was proposed by the Burns Lake Community Forest to the ministry. Also information in the article came from a letter written to Burns Lake Community Forest general manager Dawn Stronstad by Jim Sayle, Ministry of Natural Resource Operations Prince George district resource manager. Burns Lake Community Forest’s annual allowable cut will be 260,000 m3 until Dec. 31, 2013, after which it will then be reduced to 100,000 m3.
