Dear Editor:
I would like to congratulate the newly elected mayor and council and appreciate their commitment to serve and represent the residents of Summerland over the next four years.
I have a very simple message that, judging by the election results, voters didn’t believe the current council did that well: “This is our town, not council’s town. Hear what we have to say, listen carefully and act accordingly.”
Good luck over the next four years and once again, thank you for your willingness to serve our community.
