Deer population yet unknown

A good point was made about the number council wants to cull and the number that have died from various reasons.

Re: Two interesting letters written about deer and statistics recently in the News.

Do the mayor and council really believe that culling 25 deer will make one iota of difference? With so many deer deaths already has there been a change in deer population?

Apparently a deer count has taken place so where are the numbers? Do we have an over-population and if so how is that defined?

If a cull does take place don’t be lulled into thinking its a one-time deal for the taxpayers. Furthermore,  scientific history shows culls don’t work.

Our mayor and council don’t seem to believe it.
