Everywhere you go you see teachers manning their picket lines. You see signs saying “Teachers Care” and “Kids Matter”. Every time you see their union boss on TV he’s saying “we’re doing it for the kids”.
The government recently stated they would be willing to lift their lockout on summer schools so teachers could help the kids that need help.
What does their union boss say? No way. We won’t let teachers help the kids until we have an agreement. Only an agreement with their employer will result in the teachers teaching the kids that need help at summer schools.
What’s wrong with this picture? Maybe, just maybe, the teachers haven’t got the kids’ best interests at heart like they want the public to believe.”
Maybe they’re more interested in their own gain and maybe they’re using the kids as pawns?
