Drive carefully in residential areas

Reader lost her dog but it could have been a child

To the editor:

When any of us are driving in residential areas, please bear in mind an animal or child may dash out in front of you and be hit and killed instantly.

This happened to my dear little black cockapoodle around 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 16. The blessing that came out of it was he was killed instantly.

I miss this little fellow. He was great company and very humourous to watch him interact and play with other canines triple his size.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.
