Editor: If anything would convince me not to vote for Mel Kositsky as Mayor of Langley Township, it would be an endorsement by ex-mayor Scholtens. The second most onerous endorsement(s) would be by any of the present councillors.
John Scholtens, in my humble opinion, was probably the worst mayor we have ever endured in my 17- year residence in this community. This present council, in my humble opinion, is probably also the worst we have had to endure over that period.
I am not a Rick Green supporter per se, but now that the “dirty” ads have started against his mayoralty quest, I just might vote for him. I will obviously not be voting for any of the present councillors, as I could be accused of ratifying the next high-priced firefighters contract.
