Irina Lavrova, Prima Ballerina for 18 years in the great Odessa Opera and Ballet Theatre of the Ukraine, has located here. Lavrova Classical Ballet Academy has been located on the border of Langley and Surrey for many years.
Now Langley can call this esteemed ballet mistress our own — a jewel in our crown. We should be very proud to have this level of artistry within our borders.
This studio has changed its name to “Lavrova Dance Complex,” showcasing the many other areas of dance taught there. Jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, musical theatre, acro and tap are all offered to the growing body of dancers.
The other talented instructors of these disciplines have a wealth of experience and knowledge to bring to their students. Lavrova Dance is a well-rounded studio that encompasses all the needs of a developing dancer.
Irina Lavrova offers world-class ballet instruction. Lavrova Dance completes that circle of dance with its many other offerings.
My daughter has danced under Ms. Irina for nine years. With every passing year, we are more thrilled and proud to call Lavrova Dance our studio of choice. Serious instruction, coupled with a sense of fun and positivity, is what makes this studio our home, and indeed, family.
