Recently Dr. Zitouni (the provincial radiation specialist environmental health services, British Columbia Centre for Disease Control (BCCDC)) wrote in an email referring to the recent classification of radio frequencies as a Group 2B carcinogen.
Smart meters, WiFi, and cordless phones are in the same radiation range. Does BC Hydro recognise the BCCDC as a creditable Health Authority in BC? If they do, why are they in the process of installing a device that the BCCDC is concerned emits harmful radiation?
A similar question can be asked of BC Ferries. Why do they force all those traveling by ferry to endure radiation that the BCCDC has concerns about?
