Farewell from publisher

Good bye – sometimes those words mean see you soon, sometimes they mean forever.

Good bye – sometimes those words mean see you soon, sometimes they mean forever. I’d like to think for me it means see you around town!

Yes, I am leaving the Chronicle. I have been with Black Press almost 19 years, all but three of them here in Ladysmith. I’ve worked in creative, circulation, front office, sales and finally as a publisher these past five years.

There is always something new and interesting going on in Ladysmith and I am always amazed at the community spirit in our little town.

I will miss seeing my regulars, but I am not moving out of town, so I will still be involved in some of my volunteer roles, still be shopping locally and I will definitely see you at Old Tyme Christmas! It is time for me to take a break and move on to some new challenges in life.

Til I see you again!Teresa McKinley

PS: I am leaving you in good hands. New publisher Andrea Rosato-Taylor has been in the newspaper industry for  many years and brings a wealth of knowledge to this community, plus she lives locally in Yellow Point.
