Feeling safer in the downtown Chilliwack

Thank you to city council and law enforcers who accomplished this safer downtown Chilliwack.

For the past six months or so, it has been wonderful and safe to walk in downtown Yale, especially around the Nowell-Fletcher area.

Invisible are the drug dealers, addicts and sex trade workers. Absent also are the johns who did their drive-by shopping.

The buildings are still boarded up and empty – a by-product of the transients. Perhaps, one day new businesses may be attracted to the area.

Thank you to city council and law enforcers who accomplished this safer downtown.
