Fletcher should get his facts straight

Separating oil from Manure (B.C. Views Sept. 5)

Separating oil from Manure (B.C. Views Sept. 5). Tom Fletcher should get his facts right. “Big tankers spill.”… up until a few months ago, we never had big tankers coming down our coast.

Oil runoff: Are you talking about the world or the West Coast? There is a big difference.

Bilge cleaning: This has been outlawed in these waters of B.C. for years.

Air pollution from vehicles: Again are you talking world-wide or just the West Coast?

Seeps from offshore drilling: There is no off shore drilling in the area you are talking about, but remember the Exxon Valdez, spilled 750,000 barrels or 31 million gallons. Look at the destruction that caused. I would call your article a misconception.
