Let us take this opportunity to express our thanks and appreciation to you, Mayor Dianne Watts and the council of Surrey, for dedicating Kwomais Point as a park and cultural centre for Surrey residents.
Crescent Moon Coffee House has resumed in full force, strengthening community ties through music – as it has been doing for 30 years. New people are always attending, and we will continue to welcome all who are interested in playing or listening to homegrown music. How wonderful to live in a city where the stewards have the foresight to take bold steps to build strong neighbourhoods for now and generations to come.
