Dear editor,
I would like to remind the drivers of the Valley that driving in fog, rain, snow or other conditions that reduce visibility, having full headlights on is of critical importance.
Vehicles are often equipped with headlights that come on when the vehicle is running. This does nothing to increase how your vehicle appears from the side and especially from behind.
A personal observance is that a vast majority of the offenders are in white, grey, silver or light blue colours. You are the most difficult to see.
Lets use our road sense and try to prevent accidents instead of being a cause.
Rob Nielsen,
Comox Valley
