Wouldn’t you know it, Friday comes along the price of gas increases.
Whatever happened to our little tourist friendly town?
It seems to me the intent of some of our merchants is to stick it to the tourist as often and as much as possible.
Not only have we been paying .07 cents more per litre for gas then Chilliwack, but now it goes up to .10 cents more per litre on the long weekend. Absolutely ridiculous!
When oil was approximately $100 a barrel, gas was about $1.30 per litre. Now that bulk oil is $86 per barrel, we are still told we must pay $1.27 per litre.
By the way, gas is only $1.19 per litre in Chilliwack.
I suggest you fill up there or better yet go across the line and pay about $3.23 per gallon (already converted to Canadian) instead of $5.76 per gallon here in Hope!
A really upset customer,
