Geese!
Every Day, a vee shaped flight
They are smart, don’t fly at night.
We see them here all winter long,
Many flocks, hundreds strong.
In fields, playgrounds, golf courses too,
They leave their calling cards of poo.
No longer are they passing through,
Leaving just some stragglers, few.
They used to fly to south of here,
But that has changed a lot I fear.
Our noisy feathered guests,
Are now just dreaded pests.
