I wish to thank the Vernon Alliance Church prayer group, the tenants of McCulloch Court and residents of Vernon and Coldstream for praying for my 24-year-old grandson David Oaten. He is a former resident, and attended Coldstream Elementary and graduated from Kal Secondary.
On Aug. 23, I had a phone call saying David was in Surrey Memorial Hospital and in a coma. He remained in a coma until Sept. 11, when he woke up. He went home Sept. 13.
He has learned to walk again but can no longer use his cell phone. I thank all of you for the prayers you said for David
