A trip to the emergency room at our local Vernon Jubilee Hospital can be just as scary for the patient as it is for the family.
It is never easy to quickly adjust to the need for urgent care, but there are people in the emergency room who do this day in and day out and support the patient and family along the way.
I would like to take the time to thank the excellent, professional and helpful staff who took care of my relative when he required their services.
The ER was, as usual, hopping busy with people all requiring all levels of care and interventions. From the start to the end of our time there, we were treated with respect, excellent care and great communication.
Dr. Concannon and Trista the nurse, were the two that we spoke with the most, but everyone along the way, from admitting, triage, X-ray, CT and social work, were beyond excellent.
I can only imagine how many other things they were working on at the same time and they never made us feel like a number.
Thank you to the ER team and support staff for the first-rate, professional and personal care that you provided and continue to provide.
We are lucky in Vernon to have such a capable and caring team of people in our hospital.
