The Oceanside Pickleball Club wrapped up a very successful summer season on Oct. 2.
The warm, dry summer allowed for excellent playing conditions as we had very few cancellations due to rain. Our monthly tournaments attracted a full slate of players and the two intra-club competitions with the Comox Valley Pickleball Club were a highlight of our season.
Our club would like to take this opportunity to extend our sincere thanks to our sponsors who have shown a wonderful commitment to sport in the Oceanside area.
Dairy Queen has shown a constant dedication to our club for the past two years. Glen MacPherson of Royal LePage Realty, as well as Todd Sjogren and Keith Andersen of BMO Nesbitt Burns, came on board this year and we appreciate their strong support and enthusiastic participation in our club’s activities.
