Dear Editor:
At each end of our city, we have signs saying you are in Summerland.
Wow, the signs are great but the grounds surrounding them are disgraceful. Nothing but a pile of weeds. Let’s get this cleaned up. Forget plants, bushes or whatever and finish it off with some nice stone or brick work that would be low maintenance and permanent.
I have been hopeful this might have been cleaned up in the last two years. What’s the holdup, city hall? We want our town to look great and for the most part it looks fantastic.
Let’s get these signs in Trout Creek and the north end of town more attractive, ASAP.
