Gutsy move applauded

Editor: Intestinal fortitude or guts, as I prefer to call it, was evidenced in Friday’s Times. The lead story entitled ‘A cautionary tale’ told the story of courageous John Westhaver’s talk to 600 students about the dangers of driving when drunk or pre occupied. His tale and gruesome disfiguration will, I am sure, resonate in the memories of those who attended.

Another gutsy move was evidenced on page 3, where The Times encouraged the residents of Langley to participate in the possible amalgamation of the two “double the cost” administrations that now govern us.

Accolades, as well, go to Diana Sampson for her wonderful letter and poem concerning the expenditure of our tax dollars.
