Harper also played coalition card

The hypocrisy of the arrogant  Prime Minister Stephen Harper never ceases to amaze me.

He must expect us all to suffer from amnesia and forget that in 2005 he formed a coalition with the NDP and the Bloc Quebecois to replace the then Liberal government without then benefit of an election.

In opposition he repeatedly attacked the then Liberal government for what he termed a democratic deficient. But the reason we are having this and the last election is because Stephen Harper is not willing to work with whomever the public gives him, like he is suppose to.

Furthermore he can smear  a Liberal-NDP coalition all he likes but until he gives examples or evidence of it being the danger he claims, we should see through it and be more concerned about a majority government committing us to wars and so-called security-partnerships, euphemism for tyranny, and licking the U.S. president’s boots each chance he gets.

We in B.C. should see through his majority conservative government or bust fear-mongering since we’ve seen nearly 10 years of a disastrous Liberal majority at the provincial level who have not listened to the people on key issues such as class size and bailout their friends on legal fees to the tune of $6 million while seeing our homeless population quadruple.

Ontario had a Liberal-NDP coalition for two years in the 1980s, and it was a great government simple because David Peterson choose to work with what the public gave him. Also during the 80s Saskatchewan’s economy  was driven into the ground by two consecutive Conservative Majorities led by Grant Devine and it was an NDP government that got the province’s books back in order.
