Key support needed Soon we will be getting notices about the War Amps Key Tag Service, which celebrates 65 years on Jan. 17, in the mail. Key tags protect any keys, not just car keys. If you used this service and have lost your keys, the finder only needs to call the toll-free number on the back of the tag or put them in any mailbox. Each key tag is equipped with a confidential coded number. This service may have started as a way to help people injured in war, but now it also helps children who have lost limbs. The founding philosophy of “amputees helping amputees” has been passed along to the thousands of children who have come through the Child Amputee (CHAMP) Program. The War Amps do not receive any government funding. For more information or to order key tags, call 1-800-250-3030 or visit waramps.ca..
