I’m Ben.
I’m in Grade 5 and I’m working on a project about KidSport.
KidSport is a Canadian organization that started in 1993.
Its goal is to help every kid play a season of sport.
Since then, KidSport has raised $18 million, helping more than 250,000 kids play a season of sport.
I believe no kid should be left on the sidelines and that every kid should experience what it’s like to be on a team.
It teaches kids to respect others and they learn to work as a team toward a common goal.
To help this cause, people could donate online, participate in the KidSport five-kilometre Fun Run, or help transport kids to and from games and practices.
