Why does the White Rock hobo get moved half a block at a time?
He has been moved from Johnston Road to the bus stop on Thrift Avenue, and now he has been moved to the edge of Bryant Park. This is getting too close to my home.
We used to enjoy people walking their dogs, sitting on the benches reading or just enjoying what the park has to offer… this is no more.
No one goes in the park any more, and can you blame them? He takes a bench, covers it with his “stuff” and sits there all day and all night.
It has been nice weather so he hasn’t put up his plastic “tent” yet, but he will soon. He smells and is very dirty and scary looking, and we get to watch him go to the bathroom behind the thrift store.
We see him from our patio and our living room, as do a lot of other people in our building. Disgusting is the only word to describe him.
We purchased our ocean-view apartment three years ago for the view, but this has changed now.
Something has to be done!
To all the people who feel sorry for him, how would you like him in your neighbourhood?
He wouldn’t last long in Elgin Park or Morgan Creek, so why does he get to live in White Rock and make our area look “slummy”?
