Learn How to Save Energy… and Money

On Wednesday February 22nd a local event will discuss how you can save power, as well as the dollars in your pocketbook, leading towards a more sustainable community.
Wildsight Golden and the Council of Canadians Golden Chapter have organized an evening to introduce energy issues such as: how you can be more energy efficient at home, energy saving upgrades and improvements, how to reduce your carbon footprint with energy improvements, and alternative energy options that make sense in the Columbia Valley.

As well you will learn about what local businesses and individuals are offering to make Golden and surrounding areas more energy efficient. A presentation will be given on geothermal systems, and you can listen to a presentation from the Town of Golden discussing what they are doing to reduce energy emissions locally, committing to a more sustainable future.
There will also be information tables with local experts available for questions and answers. You are invited to look, listen, watch, question, participate and learn.
