Honest Vanderhoof resident should be given recognition

A local provincial community assistance program wishes to acknowledge and thank a good Samaritan, after he found and returned a cash-filled wallet to a low-income resident of Vanderhoof.

Losing this significant amount of cash would have meant canceling a longed-for plan to spend the Easter holidays with family, out of town. David Carpenter, a resident of Vanderhoof and a member of the Vanderhoof District’s Public Works department, found the wallet just a few hours after it was lost, and immediately contacted the number found in the wallet.  All contents were in place.

This action speaks volumes about the honesty and integrity of Mr Carpenter,  and overwhelming gratitude is expressed to him. Thank you for being a great model citizen!
