In a perfect world, the empty floors at VJH would have beds and doctors and nurses to look after those beds, but maybe the letter writer should ask where the funds will come from to do so.
Do we take money from school budgets, or the many other government programs that are being funded? There are only so many tax dollars to go around and I as a taxpayer cannot afford to fund all of the utopian programs that the general public wants.
