My family and I would like to thank Vernon Jubilee Hospital and all of their wonderful friendly staff.
On June 15 our daughter Giani Kendyl Maracle was born at 12:24 p.m.
If it weren’t for the expertise and speed of their staff she would not be here.
Dr. Ken Upton was on call that day and discovered that I would need an emergency c-section.
The speed of the nurses and the doctors was amazing.
They did not waste any valuable time. They are very well trained and when an emergency occurs their staff was right on target.
I kept telling them not to worry about me but to save my baby. Saying thank you will never seem enough.
There are so many people we would like to thank starting with the nurses.
There are so many wonderful nurses that are employed there but a few stand out in my mind.
I would like to thank Sherri and Michelle who were there when we needed you most and recognizing the seriousness of my situation and not wasting any time in calling for the doctor.
The doctors were wonderful in bringing our beautiful baby girl into this world.
We would like to thank fourĀ specific doctors that were there that day.
Their names are Ken Upton, Michael Cook, Johann Barnard and Chris Mobbs.
There were other doctors and nurses in the OR that assisted with my surgery and we would like to thank them also.
A very big thank you is to Dr. Ken Upton who was there for me and our baby.
We named our baby after her daddy who had to fight to live as well but gave a middle name of Kendyl in honor of the man who saved her life.
Thank yous can never be enough and our praises of such a wonderful hospital staff will never go unnoticed.
So I will say again thank you Vernon Jubilee Hospital and staff for being there when we needed you most.
