Why doesn’t someone ask Kevvin Falcon how many millions the government grabs from ICBC every year?
It is usually in the neighbourhood of $250 million and this ICBC defends by saying the government is its biggest shareholder. I thought it was the taxpayer.
The losses stated by ICBC are bogus figures reworked at their discretion to “supposedly” show a loss. It seems a bit of the usual shenanigans from ICBC when it tries to be competitive with the competing insurance companies but not with mandatory insurance we are forced to buy from our own insurance agency.
It’s about as credible as the BC Hydro rate fiasco. Hydro wants an increase, wants to build more dams in pristine areas so it can continue to sell cheap power to the U.S. and other provinces … . No wonder we want another election.
