Dear Editor,
I visited Ashcroft as a potential location for my solar energy business. After this visit I wrote to the Ashcroft administration office on June 16, telling them that I would like to speak with them about relocating.
There was no reply after more than a week, so I phoned the office and the receptionist confirmed that they had received my letter. When I indicated that over a week was a long time for any reply she told me that “This office is extremely busy.”
As of July 3 there was still no response from Ashcroft. It seems very strange to me that a part of B.C. that really needs more economic activity would ignore that possibility in their area.
Good luck Ashcroft; you’re going to need it.
