It’s not so stupid, actually

Planning course in school makes perfect sense to me

Planning 10 is definitely not a “stupid and useless” course (The News, Oct. 9,).

I just had to comment on chair Lynette Kershaw’s comment to the board of education staff about the Planning 10 course taught at KSS.

I helped my granddaughter take this course online during the summer. I was impressed how it taught practical life skills such as drug awareness, finances, what jobs you would be suited for, how to write a resume and how to look for and apply for a job.

No wonder it is a ministry-mandated course. It is about the real world and how to manage in it. Thumbs up to the education ministry.
