I enjoyed reading the news from a bygone era. Being a young country, there is not that much history compared to old countries. But,there is history here. Most immigrants, even those who have been here for a long time, may not be aware of it. They are likely too busy establishing themselves in their adopted country.
I think it would be quite their worthwhile to check it out at the Surrey Museum in Cloverdale. It shows Surrey history and what life was like in early last century.
