To the editor:
We just finished reading Charlie Hodge’s recent column.
It was very timely for us as only two days ago our beloved little dog Robbie passed away suddenly and unexpectedly much before his time.
Everything Charlie mentions in regards to “TeddyBear” and his passing rings true for us. We may not be aware of how much meaning and routine pets bring to our lives until they are no longer with us.
They are very faithful, always patient, never moody and forever happy to see us with a wagging tail.
They bring great joy to a person’s life and every study I have read shows dog owners to be generally happier and healthier for owning a pet.
Thank you to Charlie for spreading the joy of pet ownership and the heartbreak of losing a pet to all your readers.
