Just hang on here…

Letter writer takes issue with claim that southside Terrace residents recycle less than other neighbourhoods

Dear Sir:

While I enjoyed reading the feature by Josh Massey on the city’s recycling program (The Terrace Standard, February 25, 2015), I took exception to a scurrilous accusation made by Marco Qualizza.

Specifically, “the Southside recycles the least.”

He based that simply on the weight he collected from my neighbourhood which gives an utterly false picture.

We have many large lots on this side of the tracks which means that we have, on a per acre basis, fewer households than, say, the Horseshoe.

Ipso facto we will put out fewer bags of recyclable material and therefore less weight than the Horseshoe rabbit warren.

Terrace, B.C.
