Lane etiquette

I'll stay in my lane, you stay in yours

I am glad that the cyclists of Vernon have their own lanes to safely travel on.

It keeps them safe and they do not impede the flow of traffic for those who travel in vehicles.  However, those lanes are meant to handle single-file bicyclists, not two abreast, or, as I have noted, three abreast.

You are then encroaching on the vehicle lanes and you run the risk of being hit or having a vehicle swerve into the oncoming traffic.

You can’t have it both ways, i.e., dedicated bike lanes and “my” lane.

I’ll stay in my lane and you stay in yours.
