Once again 100 Mile House and area residents turned out in force for the Remembrance Day Parade along Birch Avenue and the Service in the 100 Mile Community Hall on Nov. 11.
The hall was packed to the rafters with folks wanted to honour and give thanks to the fallen and remaining veterans of the wars and campaigns Canada has been involved.
When there was no more room inside the hall, about 100 people, who didn’t get inside, listened to the service outside.
The names of those who have passed away since Remembrance Day 2015 were read out: Gil Bailey, Leo P. Beauchamp, W. Randy Cobb, Ken R. Gisby, Leo Katchuik, Thomas R. Kendall, Raymond A. Matwick, Arthur A Perrey, William G. Rancourt and James W. Steffen.
