In his defence of the Tories’ competency, letter writer Fred Perry falls back on the old tried-and-true Tory trick of attacking someone else.
The Tories have used this in the past, calling anyone who disagreed with the Enbridge pipeline, terrorists. Mr. Perry mutters about the flip-flopping Liberals and Thomas Mulcaires’ feet problem as if this somehow proves the Tories are competent.
He does make a strong point about the Canadian dollar making imported oranges “a whole lot cheaper” and we all know how those Tories love their orange juice, especially the $13-a-pop kind.
As for any unsubstantiated remarks, I would have thought Mr. Perry would have only had to open any newspaper to catch up on the Tories’ latest faux pas. Can we all say Kitsilano coast guard station or easier yet F-35s? I’m afraid just saying, “We are better off with Prime Minister Stephen Harper,” doesn’t make the case with this voter.
Just as a note, I’m still willing to send my MP any coupons for orange juice on sale.
