Since living out in Deroche, I have seen three logging truck rollovers. The latest was a death. These drivers drive some of the worst backroads in the country.
Coming into Deroche from Mission, there are a dozen signs warning of the turn going out of Deroche. There is not one sign telling of this tight corner. This is where the trucks flip.
Don’t these fine logging truck drivers and others drivers of semis like me deserve a simple sign showing a tipping truck to just remind the truckers?
What’s it going to take – a truck flipping on to a loaded car, God forbid, to put up a simple sign?
Don’t forget about the truckers. We think about you.
