Letter: a Vanderhoof senior’s plans altered by theft

On August 29th some scumbag decided to steal a gas can full of twenty litres of gas from the Nechako Seniors complex.

This gas was on the back end of our motor home, in case we ran short.

We had planned to go to Seymour Arm to visit relatives there.

We have had to cancel the trip due to this theft.

I wonder how this person would feel if it had happened to his or her grandparents spoiling what had been planned.

The person should be really proud of themselves they should walk around with head held high knowing that a couple of seniors that have worked hard all their lives can’t enjoy their time thanks to them.

The gas can is red 20 litres if anyone has seen anything please contact the RCMP.

The thief should stop and think about how he or she would feel if the shoe was on the other foot and in reverse.

Be aware! There are many more out there.

Thank you in advance,

Allan SwansonVanderhoof, B.C.
