Clearly, reader Dennis Cook is unaware that, for aviation safety reasons, aerobatics may only be practiced in a designated practice area, preferably an aerobatic box within a control zone.
Abbotsford airport has had such designated airspace for many years, logically enough, considering the popularity and world-wide recognition of the Abbotsford International Airshow.
It’s just a guess, but I’ll bet the airport and its related activities were there before Mr. Cook chose to live nearby. If so, I suggest that he needs to accept conditions as he found them.
