I would like to thank Bob and Irene Carter for their letter regarding Bill C-51 and section 176 contained within.
It is always important to hear from citizens on issues that are of concern to them.
As your Member of Parliament, it is in turn my responsibility to share these concerns in Ottawa.
As this is not the first time I have heard concerns raised over Bill C-51 and specifically section 176, I will be holding a public meeting, on Saturday, Nov. 18 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Julia Street Church, 9918 Julia St. in Summerland.
The purpose of this meeting is to go over Bill C51, discuss section 176, and most importantly to listen to feedback from the citizens of Summerland.
