The Boundary District Arts Council, gallery 2 and Grand Forks and District Public Library had a successful 15th B.C. Arts and Culture Week April 20-26. For visual arts, there was a variety of 80 wonderful exhibits created by Boundary residents which will remain on display until May 10. During Arts Week, 140 students toured gallery 2 and the library. The historical and toy rooms were also on the tour. The BDAC Performing Arts Groups held their Performance Gala earlier in April because of the Easter holiday and entertained in singing, instrumental, poetry, dance, a magic show and Grand Forks Pipes and Drums. A reception was held on the last day to honour all participants. The week ended with two performances by the Grand Forks Choral Society and the Montreal Guitar Trio. Many thanks to all the organizers and participants. A special thank you to the Gazette for the great coverage and photos by Craig who popped in at all events. The Boundary has so many talented people and Arts Week is the opportune week to recognize them all.Erna Gobbett, Wendy Butterfield, Ted Fogg, Tina Bryan, Lizanne Eastwood and all volunteers
