Letter: Great performance by St. Joe’s students

St. Joseph’s Elementary School's Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat "a God gifted melding of talent, commitment and dedication."

To the editor:

Re: Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,

My husband and I were blessed to see the performance of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat put on by St. Joseph’s Elementary School held at the Rotary Centre for the Arts, Mary Irwin Theatre.

Yes, the dreamcoat was amazing, thanks I am sure to many hours spent by parents, who did a fabulous job, not only on the coat, but also on all of the costumes worn by the students of St. Joseph’s.

The costumes, though, simply enhanced the underlying talent of these young students.  For an elementary school, pulling this beautiful performance together was a God gifted melding of talent, commitment and dedication from everyone involved.

The students, teachers, parents, administrators and community members should be commended for their efforts in providing Kelowna residents with a performance Broadway worthy.

This was a beautiful example of theatre at its youngest level.  If you have missed this performance, I believe you should be on the lookout for St. Joseph’s next.
