Does the right hand know what the left hand does?
Over several years our City of Kelowna has acquired several lots north of Cedar Avenue. We have been waiting for a park to be developed.
Remember the charette? Endless letters, public meetings? Well, we are still waiting for our park.
Drive by Abbott Street, between West Avenue and Cedar Avenue. Take your camera. What do you see? Two new monster houses being built in the middle of this park property.
How did the builders get the permits?
Transparency, please. Give me, and all the citizens, an honest answer. Who is in charge here? Can Mr. Mattiussi (city manager) sort this out?
