LETTER: If not in your voting district, keep opinion to yourself

Why does it seem that the vast majority of those taking the moral high ground in favour of the supportive housing at 222 Corfield St. South seem to be from somewhere outside of Parksville, i.e. Qualicum, Nanoose, etc.?

Why does it seem that the vast majority of those taking the moral high ground in favour of the supportive housing at 222 Corfield St. South seem to be from somewhere outside of Parksville, i.e. Qualicum, Nanoose, etc.?

Would it be reasonable to suggest that the stronger they spread the perceived guilt for not being in favour, the less chance that there will be a suggestion that the project be built in their backyard?

In my opinion, if it’s not in your voting district and not in your neighbourhood, then your opinion should be kept to yourself.
