To the editor:
While Mr. Waters’ column was largely laudatory to our Prime Minister’s approach to dealing with protesters as opposed to that taken by the presumptive nominee for the US Republican party, I find his nasty/accidental/on purpose reference to “Turdeau-mania offensive.
It may have been an error on his part; it should not have happened. My spell-check just identified the spelling so I don’t know where Mr. Waters’ attention was. And, perhaps more importantly Mr./Ms. Editor, where does your responsibility lie? Is it not to edit?
